Welcome to the world of Annie Mals

We go behind-the-scenes with the team of animators behind Annie Mals.

Something’s happening at Happy Hill Farm...

On the outside, Happy Hill Farm looks much like any other farm. Green hills, muddy paths, animals going about their business. Probably a puddle or two.

But inside an old barn, there’s a lever shaped like a welly. Pull it, and things get a lot more interesting.

Hidden inside is the Annie Mals Headquarters: part mission control, part workshop, part hangout. Home to Annie, her little brother Leo and a brilliant gang of AniPals who are ready to spring into action whenever an Animergency strikes.

And an Animergency can be anything.

A lost welly. A game gone horribly wrong. A friend who’s suddenly gone quiet.

When someone needs help, the team gathers and they’re off.

Of course, things rarely go smoothly. Davy the dog is usually halfway there before anyone has finished the plan. Tula the turtle is already building something. Leo has probably touched the thing he was specifically asked not to touch. And somewhere inside the walls, tiny ant engineers(Antgineers!) are enthusiastically making matters either much better or… much worse!

But Annie has a particular way of looking at things. Her superpower is seeing what others don’t.

“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Praesent sit amet vehicula nisl, eget faucibus ante. Mauris bibendum fringilla odio, et vehicula sem volutpat at. Donec dui tortor, tincidunt lacinia vestibulum nec, porttitor ac neque. Cras ac arcu arcu. Aliquam erat volutpat. Praesent vel laoreet quam. Donec at tempus felis.”

She notices the person at the edge of the game. The tiny clue everybody rushed past. The feeling underneath. And sometimes, once you see things through somebody else’s eyes, the problem looks completely different.

That’s the heart of Annie Mals: big, funny adventures built around the small things that matter enormously when you’re little.

We’re busy bringing the world to life now, from the hidden rooms of HQ to the sounds, characters and wonderfully odd inventions inside it.

There’s lots more to reveal.

For now, keep your wellies nearby.

You never know when the next Animergency might strike.
